Bishop Ranch

Anne Patterson presented a proposal for a hanging installation in the Juniper Court section of the Bishop Ranch City Center in San Ramon, CA in 2015. 

The proposal explored diverse materials, including LEDs encased in plastic tubing, lightweight aluminum steel, wire fabric, color-shifting lights, projected imagery and videos. The proposal also featured motorization, to be triggered by motion sensors responding to the movement of people below. 

By animating the space with color, light, and movement, Patterson saw that the space could become even more inviting as an area of events and/or informal use.
