Year of Wonder

Inspired by the book Year of Wonder: Classical Music for Every Day by Clemency Burton-Hill, Patterson created 365 watercolors inspired by Burton-Hill’s daily diary of classical music. Seeing color and shape while listening to music as a result of her synesthesia, Patterson created this body of work throughout 2020. Each work is filled with color and movement, uniting into a brilliant harmony when displayed together.
