Ascendant Light Watercolors

Ascendant Light was installed at the new Capital One Headquarters in late 2022. As Patterson watched her work come to life and take its shape in the massive atrium of the tower, a second wave of inspiration struck and she set to work on a series of watercolor paintings. These inspired works expand upon the vivid and expressive ways the installation comes alive in the sunshine that streams through the atrium’s windows.
